Global Forum on Asset Recovery.  The inaugural Global Forum on Asset Recovery (GFAR) will be held in Washington, DC, December 4th to 6th, 2017, hosted by the United Kingdom and the United States with support from the Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative (StAR), an initiative of The World Bank and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Calls for stronger anti-corruption drives in Asia-Pacific.Anti-corruption organizations in the Asia-Pacific region need to make efforts to materialize people's desire for a transparent society, said Pak Un-jong, chairwoman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC), which co-hosted the 9th Regional Anti-Corruption Conference of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the auspices of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific at the Millennium Seoul Hilton hotel.
