Philippines rejoins transparency initiative on mining. "The Marcos government has re-engaged with the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), which prescribes a standard for transparency and accountability in the mining, oil and gas industries."

Namibia's Prime Minister said every individual has a role to play in the fight against corruption. "Corruption is our common enemy which, if not tackled decisively, may destroy gains Namibia has thus far made, as well as future development prospects, said during the opening of the Anti-Corruption Commission's National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan for 2021-2025."
