Pharmacists seek action over corruption. “In a letter, [Pakistan Young Pharmacist Association] general secretary Dr Furqan Ibrahim asked International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva for intervention to ensure that the Pakistani authorities complete inquiries into the [Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan] financial and administrative irregularities for the recovery of embezzled funds and punishment of the culpable officials.”

Indonesian anti-graft body apologises for official's disparaging remarks on Singapore. “Indonesia's anti-graft body, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), apologised for a statement made by its senior official about the difficulty of pursuing Indonesians suspected of corruption in Singapore…[after] Police Inspector-General Karyoto…at KPK called Singapore a safe haven for graft fugitives, and said it was hard to chase Indonesian suspects, especially since both countries still did not have an extradition treaty.”
