WHO medicine warning / Sri Lanka bribery commission / Clean Contracting Manifesto

One in 10 medicines in developing countries substandard or falsified – UN health agency.  Substandard or fake medicines that fail to prevent and cure disease – and could even cause death – are becoming more and more prevalent, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned, calling on Governments to take urgent actions to tackle this global problem.

Sri Lanka Bribery Commission to get 50 more officers.  Sri Lanka's constitutional authority, the Constitutional Council has approved recruiting 50 more officers to the Bribery and Corruption Commission, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya said in parliament.
