WINDHOEK– To strengthen the capacity of learners and the school board in the decision making process of the school and ensure participatory democracy, the Namibia Institute for Democracy (NID) in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, the United Nations International Children’s Education Fund (UNICEF) and European Union (EU) launched the Social Accountability and School Governance initiative (EDU) in the Ohangwena and Hardap regions.
