Ghana journalists schooled on Transparency and Accountability

Dr. Osei Tufuor, a senior lecturer at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Cape Coast, has said transparency and accountability must be strengthened to enable the country’s decentralization process to work. Dr. Tufuor was speaking at a training and capacity building workshop on Transparency and Accountability in Decentralization for journalists and representatives of some selected Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civic Society Organizations (CSO) at Takoradi. The workshop was organized by the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD), Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
